The Morrison Area Development Corporation (MADC) recently donated to the Friends of the Parks Morrison Rockwood Recreational Trail Project. The trail will provide a safe passage for walkers, bikers, and snowmobilers between the City of Morrison and the entrance to Morrison-Rockwood Park. “Business start ups and companies looking to relocate go where their employees want to live, where there is a high quality of life,” stated Corinne Bender, MADC Director. “When evaluating a community’s quality of life, the major factors looked at include not only educational facilities, crime rates, health care, and climate, but recreational opportunities as well.
