For well over a decade, the Morrison Friends of the Parks Foundation have worked tirelessly to build a safe passage for walkers and bikers between the City of Morrison and the entrance to Morrison-Rockwood State Park. On Thursday, June 19, 2014 their efforts were recognized at a well-attended grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony for the first segment of the Morison Rockwood Recreational Trail.
