The Dixon Chamber of Commerce, Morrison Area Development Corporation and Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce are joining again to co-host another great event for local businesses.

Tuesday, May 2 the President and CEO of the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association, Greg Baise, will be in Sterling for a manufacturing update. This special presentation will focus on the association’s current middle-class manufacturing agenda to improve the state’s manufacturing climate and revitalize the middle class. Mr. Baise is currently traveling the state sharing this message and meeting with local manufacturers.

According to Kimberly Ewoldsen, Executive Director of the Morrison Area Development Corporation, “We work with our local manufacturers frequently, but this event is a unique opportunity for them to meet with Mr. Baise and gain stronger insight into their initiatives and how they are trying to address manufacturing needs in the current business environment.”
